Your growth begins the moment you feel supported.
At Elevated Earth, we believe art, agriculture, and community have the power to transform lives. Through creative experiences, hands-on learning, and meaningful connection, we create opportunities for people of all ages to grow, create, and belong.
Children and teens engage through art classes, nature-based learning, agricultural experiences, and educational resources that encourage curiosity, creativity, and personal growth. Artists and makers are invited into a larger creative community through exhibitions, workshops, mentorship opportunities, and collaborative projects that celebrate both emerging and established voices.
Through Art on the River’s two curated exhibitions each year, we bring together artists from across Alabama and beyond, creating opportunities for artists, collectors, and communities to connect through meaningful creative experiences. Alongside the main gallery, young artists are encouraged and celebrated through dedicated youth exhibitions that help foster the next generation of creators.
Elevated Earth also supports emotional wellness, personal growth, and community resilience through coaching, educational resources, support groups, and experiences that encourage reflection, connection, and purposeful living. Our work with animals and sustainable agriculture offers additional opportunities to learn stewardship, compassion, and responsibility through direct experience.
As we continue to grow, we are working toward creating a permanent gathering place where art, agriculture, education, and community can come together year-round. Every class, exhibition, workshop, volunteer, sponsor, and donation helps cultivate a more creative, connected, and thriving community—rooted in the land, inspired by the arts, and invested in the people who call it home.
A Glimpse of What We Do
Art & Agricultural Workshops
Our Art & Agricultural Workshops bring people of all ages together through hands-on experiences that celebrate creativity, stewardship, and community. These workshops explore the rich connection between art and the land, offering opportunities to learn practical skills while engaging in meaningful creative expression. Participants may explore painting, drawing, fiber arts, nature journaling, botanical art, gardening, seed saving, sustainable growing practices, animal care, food production, and other topics that connect people more deeply to the natural world. Whether held in a garden, on a farm, in a classroom, or within the community, each workshop is designed to be accessible, engaging, and rooted in real-world experience. By combining artistic exploration with agricultural learning, these workshops encourage creativity, self-reliance, environmental awareness, and a deeper appreciation for the people, animals, and landscapes that sustain us. Our goal is to create welcoming spaces where participants can learn new skills, connect with others, and leave inspired to cultivate beauty and purpose in their own lives and communities.
Art on the River
Art on the River is a curated arts initiative and exhibition series dedicated to connecting artists, communities, and creative experiences in meaningful ways. Through two annual exhibitions, we bring together original artwork from local, regional, and national artists while creating opportunities for connection, conversation, and cultural enrichment. Our exhibitions are designed to be both elevated and accessible, welcoming collectors, artists, families, and community members into a gallery experience that celebrates creativity in all its forms. From large-scale original works to small collectible pieces, Art on the River showcases diverse artistic voices, mediums, and perspectives within a thoughtfully curated environment. A central part of our mission is supporting artists at every stage of their creative journey. We believe established artists, emerging artists, and young artists all belong within the same creative conversation. Through artist features, educational opportunities, youth exhibitions, and community engagement, we work to create spaces where creativity is valued, artists are supported, and meaningful connections can flourish. More than an exhibition, Art on the River is an investment in the cultural life of our community. By bringing people together through the arts, we seek to inspire curiosity, foster connection, and create experiences that remind us of the power of creativity to enrich both individual lives and the communities we share.
Summer Enrichment Programs
Our Summer Enrichment Programs provide children and teens with immersive, hands-on learning experiences that blend the arts, agriculture, nature, and creativity. Offered as day camps, multi-day programs, and weekly classes, these experiences are designed to keep young people engaged, learning, and creating throughout the summer months. Participants explore a variety of topics including visual arts, gardening, animal care, nature studies, creative storytelling, environmental stewardship, and agricultural skills. Whether painting in the studio, planting in the garden, caring for farm animals, or creating nature-inspired projects, students learn through direct experience and active participation. Each program is designed to foster creativity, curiosity, confidence, and connection while encouraging young people to develop practical skills and a deeper appreciation for both the natural world and the creative process. By combining art and agriculture in meaningful ways, our summer programs offer opportunities for exploration, discovery, and personal growth in a supportive and engaging environment. Through these experiences, participants not only learn new skills but also build friendships, strengthen problem-solving abilities, and gain a greater sense of responsibility, stewardship, and creative confidence that extends far beyond the summer season.
Building a Permanent Space for Creativity and Connection
We’re building a dedicated Creative Studio at Elevated Earth, a place where children, families, artists, and community members can learn, create, and connect through art year-round. Located in rural Jack, Alabama, this space will serve as a creative home for classes, workshops, summer enrichment programs, artist gatherings, and hands-on learning experiences that bring people together through the arts.
In partnership with Art on the River, our biannual exhibition and community arts initiative in nearby Elba, we’re creating meaningful opportunities for artists of all ages to grow, connect, and share their work. From the Brooke Chapman Memorial Young Artists Gallery and youth exhibitions to artist workshops, mentorship opportunities, and collaborative community projects, we’re building pathways that support creativity at every stage of life.
This vision extends beyond a single studio or event. We are working to create a thriving creative ecosystem where children discover their artistic voice, emerging artists find encouragement and opportunity, established artists connect with their communities, and people of all ages experience the power of creativity to inspire, heal, and bring people together.

Detailed Project Summary: Elevated Earth Creative Studio & Community Arts Space
Location: Jack, Alabama
Mission: To create an accessible community arts space that fosters creativity, connection, education, and artistic growth through year-round programming, exhibitions, workshops, and collaborative opportunities for children, families, artists, and the broader community.
The Elevated Earth Creative Studio is a new initiative focused on establishing a dedicated arts and learning space on rural land in Jack, Alabama. Designed as a welcoming environment where creativity, education, agriculture, and community intersect, the studio will serve as a place for artistic exploration, lifelong learning, and meaningful connection across generations.
Located in the rural community of Jack, the studio is intentionally rooted in a setting that reflects Elevated Earth’s commitment to connecting people with creativity, nature, and one another. While Jack provides the land and agricultural environment that shape much of our work, nearby Elba serves as the region’s primary arts and community hub. Just fifteen minutes away, Elba is where Elevated Earth currently hosts art classes and where Art on the River brings together artists, collectors, families, and visitors through biannual exhibitions and community arts experiences. Together, Jack and Elba create a unique partnership between rural learning spaces and community arts engagement, allowing us to serve both local residents and the broader region while expanding access to meaningful arts opportunities.
The project begins with constructing a fully equipped studio and gathering space where children, teens, adults, families, and artists can participate in creative experiences throughout the year. Programming will include art classes, summer enrichment programs, agricultural and creative workshops, homeschool enrichment opportunities, artist demonstrations, community events, open studio sessions, and collaborative projects that encourage creativity, curiosity, and lifelong learning.
A central component of the studio’s mission is strengthening the creative community throughout the region. In many rural areas, artists often work in isolation and have limited opportunities to connect with other creatives. The Elevated Earth Creative Studio will provide a dedicated space where artists can gather, share ideas, develop their work, participate in workshops, mentor emerging artists, and build meaningful relationships through collaboration and creative exchange.
The studio will work closely with Art on the River, Elevated Earth’s community arts initiative and exhibition series held in Elba. Through two curated exhibitions each year, Art on the River showcases artists from across Alabama and beyond while creating opportunities for community engagement through the arts. The Creative Studio will serve as a year-round extension of that mission, supporting artists not only through exhibitions but also through education, networking, mentorship, workshops, and collaborative programming.
This partnership also creates meaningful opportunities for young artists. Through the Brooke Chapman Memorial Young Artists Gallery and related youth initiatives, children and teens will have opportunities to display their work, participate in exhibitions, engage with working artists, and experience firsthand what it means to be part of a larger creative community. By placing young artists alongside emerging and established artists, we hope to encourage confidence, artistic growth, and a lifelong appreciation for creativity.
The studio will operate with a strong commitment to accessibility, offering free and low-cost programming whenever possible through scholarships, sponsorships, grants, and community support. Donations directly support construction, art supplies, studio furnishings, educational programming, artist opportunities, youth initiatives, and ongoing community arts experiences.
Grounded in the belief that creativity strengthens individuals and communities alike, this project seeks to create something lasting for our region: a place where children discover their creative voice, artists find connection and opportunity, families engage in meaningful learning experiences, and people of all ages come together through the shared experience of making, learning, and creating. By linking the rural landscape of Jack with the growing arts community in Elba, the Elevated Earth Creative Studio will help cultivate a vibrant, connected creative culture that serves the region for years to come.
